This is a rare Singer 221 machine for the Featherweight collector.

This 1941 Singer 221 Featherweight with the “Made In USA” decal below the Singer badge is considered to be rare.

The Featherweight Shop values those few Featherweights with this badge at between $1600 and $2000 putting them in the same value range as a Blackside Featherweight and several other rare or difficult to find Featherweights.

This machine was sold in Canada in 1941 whilst Canada was at war with Germany. The Canadian Singer factory was repurposed during the war to contribute to the war effort so no sewing machines were manufactured by Singer in Canada between 1939 and 1945.

There is some wear to the sewing surface on the flip up bed. The bottom lip on the front, back and left side appears to have touched up areas.

Unlike the 222K and 221 Featherweights that I sell this rare machine is as it was found. No cleaning or servicing by me.

The motor is a US 100-110 volt motor.

The machine runs well and sews a nice stitch.

Very few Featherweights have the “Made in USA” decal making this a desirable machine for Featherweight collectors.

Featherweights are notorious for being damaged while being shipped. It is very important that they be carefully and properly packed. It takes over an hour to properly pack a Featherweight for safe shipment. We have the experience to provide safe shipping. SAFE SHIPPING IS GUARANTEED.
