This red "S" 1960 Singer 222K (222) is a gorgeous Featherweight. It runs quietly and sews a nice stitch.
As with all our Featherweights this machine has been thoroughly inspected, parts have been ultrasonically cleaned, the machine then reassembled, fully serviced, waxed and then thoroughly tested.
The light works, the bobbin winder winds bobbins, the foot control has a large range of speeds, the tension is balanced, etc. Everything on the machine works as it should.

The sewing machine is ready to just plug in and play.

The serial number of this 222K (222) Featherweight is ER902069. This dates the machine to September 7, 1960.

There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.

The 222K is convertible to a 2" sewing arm by removing the sewing bed.
The feed dogs can be easily lowered for free motion sewing.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine.

This original 222 machine has been restored (not repainted), serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight.
