This is a beautiful 1960 RED "S" 222K Featherweight that was carefully used for a short period of time and then stored for decades. It has almost no usage marks.

The finish glows and it shines brightly. The machine sews a nice stitch. The light works. The bobbin winder winds bobbins. Everything on the machine works as it should.

The sewing machine is ready to just plug in and play.

The serial number of this 222K Featherweight is ER901738. This dates the machine to September 7, 1960.

There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.

The photographs shown are of the Singer 222K Featherweight that is for sale.

The sewing bed is removable providing a 2" sewing arm.
The feed dogs can be lowered for free motion sewing.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine.

The machine has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight.

Singer 222K Featherweights are considered by many to be the best sewing machine that Singer ever produced.
