The serial number of this Featherweight is EP132381. This dates the machine to March 3, 1959.
222K Featherweights have the ability to easily lower and raise the feed dog using the sew/darn lever.
There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.
The sewing bed is removable so that the machine can be used as a freearm sewing machine.
The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control. Everything works as it should.
This sewing machine has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival. These machines are a favorite sewing machine of quilters worldwide because they are reliable, compact, lightweight, versatile and let’s face it they are so darn cute.
The throat plate is a graduated throat plate.
The case is in very good condition. Both of the latches have strong springs and the locks work well.
