1957 GORGEOUS SINGER 221 FEATHERWEIGHT. AM790254

This 1957 Singer 221 Featherweight is a beautiful example of a USA made Featherweight. It is very quiet when running and it sews a nice stitch.

The decals are a deep golden color and are complete and the finish is in excellent condition.

The Featherweight runs and sews well. A sewing sample accompanies the machine as with all the Featherweights that we sell.

The photographs are of the listed Singer 221 Featherweight. It is in excellent, clean condition as can be seen in the photographs. 

The bobbin case is included.

The serial number is AM790254 which assigns the machine to September 27, 1957. This machine was in the last batch of Featherweights ever produced in the USA.

All of the Featherweights that we sell have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, lubricated and tested. The testing consists of the machine going through a final 8 point checklist before being listed. The checklist is given toward the end of the listing description.

There are no missing or broken parts, no grunge to try to remove, and no expensive repairs to be done.

The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control.

The case is in very good, sound condition both inside and out. The latches work well.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
