This gorgeous Red 1953 Singer 222K Featherweight has been completely refurbished.

The serial number is EJ270752. This is one of the earliest 222K machines produced. Before this 5000 batch of machines was produced on Nov 18, 1953 only 1400 other 222K machines had been made. There had been seven test batches averaging 200 machines per batch.

This machine runs very smoothly. It sews a nice stitch. A sample of the stitch accompanies the machine.

THE US VOLTAGE MOTOR OPERATES SMOOTHLY. THIS SINGER 222K FEATHERWEIGHT WILL OPERATE IN THE USA AND CANADA.

NO VOLTAGE ADAPTER IS NEEDED. The sewing machine is ready to just plug in and play.

222K Featherweights have the ability to lower their feed dogs as well as remove the sewing bed to become a freearm sewing machine.

The bobbin case is included.

The machine is as gorgeous as it looks in the photographs. What a great present for yourself or a deserving someone.

All 222K Featherweights have graduated throat plates.

A cute pouch to hold the foot control.

There is not a case.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.

All the Featherweights that I sell have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, lubricated and tested. The testing consists of the machine going through a final 9 point checklist before being listed for sale. The checklist is given toward the end of the listing description
