This Singer 222K Featherweight is in excellent condition.
222K Featherweights have the ability to easily lower and raise the feed dog using the sew/darn lever.
There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.
This 222K was not used much and when it was used it was used with care.
The decals are complete and a deep golden color. The finish is bright and shiny with few usage marks.

222K Featherweights were produced with Canadian or British motors. 222K Featherweights were not manufactured in the USA. To be original a 222K Featherweight must have a Canadian or British motor.
The sewing bed is removable so that the machine can be used as a freearm sewing machine.
The serial number of this Featherweight is EJ909362 which dates the machine to September 10, 1954.
The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control.
The finish glows as can be seen in the photographs.
The bobbin case is included.
The throat plate is a graduated throat plate.
The carrying case is in good condition. The latches both work.
The attachments are shown below. The manual is a good quality reproduction.
The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
