We have been selling Singer Featherweights for almost 20 years.

This Singer 221 Featherweight is an ideal second Featherweight for the cottage, motor home, teaching the grandchildren how to sew, taking to classes, etc.

This lovely sounding 221 Featherweight runs well and sews a great stitch. It does have some cosmetic issues but none that affect the machines sewing ability.  There are marks on the flip up bed as well as a chip in the finish. The electrical plug has a chip out of the bottom edge. The case has a slight old smell.

This machine has been given the same treatment that all our Featherweights receive, both 221 and 222K Featherweights, before being sold.  All parts are checked then thoroughly cleaned.  The machine itself has been thoroughly cleaned fully serviced and finally tested with a sample.

The machine sews well, the tensions are balanced, the bobbin winder works, etc.  Everything works as it should.

The bobbin case is a reproduction but has been tested and used on this machine.  The shown sample was sewn using this bobbin case.

This 221 runs and sews well, everything works and it is clean and bright and shiny.
