The Featherweight has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced. There are no missing or broken parts, no grunge to try to remove, and no expensive repairs to be done.
The Featherweight can be used anywhere in the US and Canada.
The serial number of this Singer 221 Featherweight is EH135141 which dates this machine to February 29, 1952 a (leap year Featherweight).
As well as being thoroughly cleaned and fully serviced all of the Featherweights that we sell are tested for their sewing ability. The testing consists of the machine going through a final 8 point checklist before being listed. The checklist is given at the end of the listing description.
The photographs are of the listed Singer 221 Featherweight. It is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photographs.
The carrying case is in excellent condition. There is a full attachments tray. Both latches work well.
The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
