The 1950 Centennial Singer 221 Featherweight runs and sews well. It is ready to plug in and play.

All of the Featherweights that we sell have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, lubricated and tested. The testing consists of the machine going through a final 8 point checklist before being listed. The checklist is given toward the end of the listing description.

The photographs are of the listed Singer 221 Featherweight. It is in good condition as can be seen in the photographs.

The serial number of this Featherweight is EF914448 which dates the machine to July 9,1950.

This is a nice sewing machine that has some wear and a few chips on the flip up bed.

The bobbin case is included.

The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control. Everything works as it should.

There is a half moon chip out of the bottom of the three prong receptacle as seen in the photograph below. It does not affect the safety nor the use of the machine.

The case is in good condition. There is not a tray. There is a red pouch for the foot control.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
