1955 SINGER 222 FEATHERWEIGHT - EXCELLENT

This beautiful Singer 222K Featherweight runs quietly and smoothly as well as sews a nice stitch.

As with all of the Featherweights that we sell this machine has been disassembled, each part thoroughly checked, faulty parts replaced with original Featherweight parts, parts spotlessly cleaned, appropriate parts are waxed, the machine is reassembled and then serviced.

The machine is then bench tested and then tested for sewing and a sample is sewn.

This machine is a "hybrid". The sewing bed has been restored. It has new finish, decals and clear coat. The finish is like new. The machine itself is original.

 It is ready to sew right out of the box. You will be very proud to be the owner of this example of the best sewing machine Singer ever produced - the 222K Featherweight.

The sewing bed is removable.

The machine comes with a new replica case.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.

4) Bobbin winder tested. Bobbin wound.

5) Bobbin case tested for correct tension.

7) Sewing ability including reverse tested.

8) Sample sewn including 90 degree corner.
