When buying a vintage Singer Featherweight, in order to avoid disappointment, be sure to buy your machine from a reputable dealer.
This 1955 Singer 222K has a small amount of wear on the bed decal in front of the stitch plate.
It has had the same preparation, service, lubrication and testing as all our Featherweights receive.
It sews a nice stitch.
The serial number of this Featherweight is EK322568 which gives a date of March 14, 1955.

The carrying case is sound. The right latch needs a bit of force to open, Its button needs to be pushed back into place to lock.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
