This is a very nice looking machine that runs and sews well.
The white Singer 221 machine arrived with no motor, belt or bobbin case.
A motor, belt and bobbin case were temporarily put onto the machine.
The machine was serviced and then tested.
It runs like a charm and sews a very nice stitch.
The upper tension assembly works, the bobbin winder works, the foot control has a good range, the lamp and its switch work, etc. Everything works as it should.
The finish is in good condition with a few small chips but no scratch marks. It is in very good condition.
The throat plate is a graduated throat plate.
New replacement motors are available from Desk Dave's Featherweight Factory.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine.
