When oiling your fabulous Featherweight do not forget to oil the hook / bobbin case assembly. If weird noises start coming from the hook assembly area, oiling will usually fix the problem.
Unplug the machine and stand it with the assembly facing up. Add a drop of oil in each of the three places shown in the photograph below.
The two drops in the circles lubricate between the underside of the bobbin case holder and the assembly and the drop on the side lubricates the edge of the holder.
If any oil gets onto the top side of the bobbin case holder be sure to remove it using a Q-Tip or similar.
