This is a gorgeous looking reconditioned 221 Singer Featherweight that is now a dark cherry metallic red.

 

The photographs are of the listed Singer 221 Featherweight. It is in good condition as can be seen in the photographs.

The serial number of this Featherweight is EG436718. This amazing sewing machine is going on 65 years old and is now ready for another 65 plus.

The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control.

There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
