This stunning red "S" Singer 222K Featherweight is a gorgeous machine.  It runs quietly and sews a lovely stitch.  The decals are a deep golden color and the black finish glows.

This Singer 222K is one of the "best of the best" and runs on US and Canadian voltage (120 volts).

The serial number is ES355990 which dates the machine to January 31, 1961.
1961 was the last year of Singer 222K production.  Only 109,000 Singer 222K machines were ever produced.

The Singer 222K Featherweight is in excellent cosmetic condition (as can be seen in the photographs) as well as in excellent operating condition.

The sewing bed is removable so that the machine can be used as a freearm sewing machine.

222K Featherweights have the ability to easily lower and raise the feed dog using the sew/darn lever.

Singer 222K Featherweights have graduated throat plates.

This 222K case is in excellent condition. Both latches work.

The manual is a quality reproduction.

The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine.
