This is a nice 1955 Singer 222K that runs perfectly. There is wear to the front bed decal and to the finish.

We give this machine a 9+ mechanically and a 7+ cosmetically.

The serial number is EK630391 which dates the 222K to August 16, 1955. 

The 222K Featherweight can plug into any wall outlet in the USA or Canada.

As with all our machines, this machine, including the motor, has been cleaned, polished, waxed, fully serviced, timed and tuned. All parts have been thoroughly checked, the machine properly lubricated and then completely tested with a sample.

The case is in good condition with both latches working perfectly.

As stated above this is a very nice machine and it is a reasonable price.

There are no missing or broken parts, no oily, brown cigarette smoke residue or other grunge to try to remove, no expensive repairs to be done, no surprises and no frustration.

The machine runs and sews very quietly, the light works, the bobbin winder works beautifully, the hook is timed, the foot control has a range of speed, etc. Everything works as it should. 

Singer 222K Featherweights are considered by many to be the best sewing machine that Singer ever produced.
