This seventy one year old 1951 Singer 221 Featherweight is a lovely machine that runs and sews well.
The decals are complete and a deep golden color.
The photographs are of the listed Singer 221 Featherweight.
The serial number of this Featherweight is EG439241 which dates the machine to March 29, 1951.
This is a very nice sewing machine.
As with all the 221 and 222K machines we sell, all parts have been thoroughly cleaned.
The bobbin case is included.
The light and switch both work as does the bobbin winder and the foot control. Everything works as it should.
All of the Featherweights that we sell have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, lubricated and tested. The testing consists of the machine going through a final 8 point checklist before being listed. The checklist is given toward the end of the listing description.
The motor is US voltage and will operate both in the USA and Canada.
The case has a full attachments tray.
The stitches from this Featherweight are straight and tight with good tension and no skipping of the stitches. A sample of the stitching will accompany the sewing machine. It has been serviced and tested so that you can quilt, sew or proudly display the Featherweight upon its arrival.
