1951 Singer 221 Featherweight For Sale. US Voltage. EG438842.

We have been selling Singer Featherweights for almost 20 years.

This Singer 221 Featherweight is an ideal first Featherweight or second Featherweight for the cottage, motor home, teaching the grandchildren how to sew, taking to classes, etc.

The 221 runs well and sews a great stitch. It does have some cosmetic issues but none that affect the machines sewing ability.  There are some usage marks.  The electrical plug has a chip out of the bottom edge.

The darning foot and feed cover are not original Singer attachments.  The manual is oil stained and will be shipped in a plastic bag.

This machine has been given the same treatment that all our Featherweights receive, both 221 and 222K Featherweights, before being sold.  All parts are checked then thoroughly cleaned.  The machine itself has been thoroughly cleaned fully serviced and finally tested with a sample.

The machine sews well, the tensions are balanced, the bobbin winder works, etc.  Everything works as it should.

The bobbin case is an original Simanco bobbin case.

There is not a case with this machine.

This 221 runs and sews well, everything works and it is clean and bright and shiny.
